Got the new Woven Bones LP sent to my new address and it was waiting here for me when we arrived!  First bundle of joy through the mail at home, it feels good (I think…).

I’m in Jersey now.  I leave this blog with this song (this first demo version is my favorite), b/c I don’t know what to say anymore.  I’ve realized a lot of things in the past week.  Things that are so fucking obvious to everyone except the people involved.  I’ll never change.  Just gotta move on.

I may have posted this song before.  I just rediscovered it on the bus ride down to NY.  I haven’t needed a song this bad in a long time.  I’ve probably listened to it over 100 times since Sat nite.

NY was fun.  I can’t believe how grown up Kathryn is.  I love her so much.  She hasn’t changed, she’s still her goofy cute self, but she is more mature.  I guess we both are actually.  I’m so happy that she lives so close to me now.  And in a week, she’ll be even closer.  I really liked her boyfriend too.  He’s my age.. funny how Kathryn always goes for guys that are way older than her!  He’s great, I can tell he really cares about her.  I really needed this trip at this point in my life.  I hate getting older.

OH MAN.  The last week has been a roller coaster.  I can’t stop changing my mind.  Things are changing, and it’s really hard to let go of the past sometimes.  But you just have to.  Yesterday Anthony graduated.  

Last week we went to NJ for Rich’s wedding.  Ant’s car broke down for the last time.  He got a new white ‘00 Golf.  It’s nice, though I have a lot of emotional ties to the other Golf.. Went to the show of the year! in Philly.  RVIVR and Slingshot Dakota.  Probably one of the best shows I’ve ever been to.  

I’m going to NY to visit my friend Kathryn who just moved up from FL in March.  I’m so excited.  I haven’t seen her since I moved.  I’m so glad she had a few days off before I move to NJ.  It worked out perfectly.  

AND Ant and I finally got our bff tattoos:

seasonal status!

The last few weeks have been a whirlwind!  My last days of working at the Prospect St store were fun.  Still hasn’t hit me yet that I’ll probably never work there again.  But I’m on seasonal status, which holds my total number of hours worked for the company.  I don’t get to use my benefits or fsa or my discount card (or so they say…we’ll see).  BUT when I go back to whole foods, I don’t miss out on all the hours I’ve worked and the good thing about that is my pto will still accrue by 54 hours at a time instead of starting over at 8 hours at a time.  And I can work for any store if they need help at any time.  As long as I get 80 hours in in a year.

Rich and Allison’s wedding was really fun, can’t wait to get the film developed!

Ant’s car overheated on the way home.  We are going to get a new car today, if we find anything.

Ate at the Bull and Bear which is where we’ll be working this summer.

RVIVR show in Philly tomorrow!!!

Seriously, Zappos is probably the best company I’ve ever come across.  I’ve bought a few things from them over the last few years and they have the best customer service!  I remember I had bought a Marc Jacobs coat and it was stolen off my front porch and they totally refunded my money.  Not to mention they have free shipping and free return shipping.  

Well I bought a new pair of sneakers (because Burks in Harvard didn’t have my size) Photobucket and they just up graded my shipping to next day air for free!  So I should be getting them today.   

Photobucket I’ve been getting cute little sneaks from urban, but they’re so cheap that I wear right through them in two months.

So I haven’t even begun packing to move home and all I can think about is packing for the trip to Prague.  I was looking for a good backpack for traveling.  Something very lightweight and fitted to my shoulders and back (something that won’t hang off of me).  Black is key.  Here are a few that I came across:

Las Robertas – In Between Buses

Las Robertas - In Between Buses  (swear I don’t love this band b/c gvsb told me to)

Yesterday hung with Rob in harvard, took back a shirt to aa only to buy a tee I already have, same color and style.  ugh.  He bought some stuff including some glasses that will be used as goggles for when he rides his vespa.

Then we rode the bus to union to stop in Hub so rob could get his subscriptions and I could get the new Sweet Tooth.  I also picked up We Will Bury You.  Rob really likes it, and I liked how it looked so I decided to start another one.  Hub had 2 and 3, and they ordered me 1.  Then we went back to my house and I made mac n cheese and we watched the last two episodes of Community.  I’m really glad Rob loves that show.  He really LOVES it!!  

Anthony has been working on making his photo book for school.  He had Jaystew help him with designing the cover and it came out awesome!

I got my wisdom teeth pulled today and totally forgot to ask if I could keep them.  :(

What a weird experience it was.  They put an oxygen mask over my nose, and I think an IV in my arm?  I didn’t look down though, maybe it was just a shot.  But it was valium.  Next thing I know, the procedure is done and I’m told to get up and taken to another room to lie down.  I felt totally stoned for a while.  But I felt like I was awake for the whole thing and that it only took like 5 mins.  But I couldn’t have been, since I never saw the doctor all up in my face.  Needless to say, for me, it was nothing to freak out over!  Now I’m in bed, taking Penicillin and Vicodin.  And I’m trying to get through an episode of 30 Rock, but I keep falling asleep.  Still stoned.  HAHAHAH fun!
